General Questions I Vail Pass Questions
Where do I pick up/return my equipment?
You can rent and return to either of our two stores. We are located at 610 S.Ridge St. (South
Store), next to the Breckenridge Mountain Lodge, and at 400 N. Park Ave. (North Store), next to
the Loaf 'n Jug. Click on the Store Locator for a town map.
What are your store hours?
We are open 8am to 5:30pm every day.
What types of bikes do you rent?
We rent a range of bikes from Specialized. Pictures and package descriptions can be found on
our Packages page
Do you rent chariots and tagalongs?
Yes.
Do you rent helmets or locks?
Yes. Helmets and locks are included with a bike rental. Without a bike rental, helmets are
available for $5/day and locks for $4/day.
Do you provide repair kits with bike rentals?
Repair kits are included with mountain and full suspension bike rentals. They can be provided
upon request for road and path bikes.
Can we make reservations?

When are the Vail Pass trips?
The Vail Pass shuttle leaves our shop at 10am and 1pm bound for Vail Pass. We do offer pick
up services in Frisco at 11:30am, 2:30pm, and 4pm. Please call to request a Frisco pick-up.
How early should we show up before a Vail Pass trip?
Please, show up 15-30 minutes before the shuttle departs.
What happens if we have bike trouble?
Our phone number is listed on every bike. Give us a phone call and we will do our best to meet
you and fix/replace your bike.
What type of weather should we expect?
The high-county weather is variable so prepare for anything, including rain. Typically rain will
hold off until late afternoon.
Are there places to stop along the bike path?
Yes. There are pull-offs along the path as well as restaurants and shops in Copper Mountain (3
miles down Vail Pass), Frisco (5 miles down Vail Pass), and Breckenridge (14 miles from Vail
Pass).
Are water bottles provided?
No, but every bike is equipped with water bottle holders, so bring your own or purchase one at
the bike shop.
Do you guide the Vail Pass Trip?
No, but we do provide detailed maps and your driver will point out landmarks on the drive up the
pass.
